How It Works

TubeKit uses server-side fetching to retrieve publicly available YouTube page data. We extract Open Graph meta tags, title, and description information directly from YouTube's public pages. No data is stored on our servers — all processing is real-time and ephemeral.

When you use TubeKit, your browser sends a YouTube URL to our server (Cloudflare Worker). We fetch the public YouTube page, extract metadata (title, description, thumbnail URLs), and return it to your browser. This data is:

• Not stored on our servers
• Not shared with third parties
• Not used for tracking or profiling
• Processed in real-time and immediately discarded

3. Cookies & Local Storage

TubeKit does not use cookies or local storage. We do not track your usage across sessions.

4. Third-Party Services

TubeKit uses Cloudflare for hosting and CDN services. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies to data transmitted through their infrastructure. We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, or other third-party trackers.

5. Children's Privacy

TubeKit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
